This Finance Business Partner role is a great opportunity for someone wanting to cut their teeth in business partnering and take on their first step from a traditional management accounting role into a commercially focused role.
You would be the FBP for a subsidiary business of a larger group so would initially build expertise and then gain exposure to group business partnering. You will be surrounded by technically gifted and astute qualified accountants whom you can learn from as you transition to a more commercial role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Presenting financial performance at monthly business unit reviews
- Providing regular financial support to the Sales and Operations teams, e.g. assessment of financial viability of investments
- Produce budget and forecasts of financial performance
- Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
- Monitoring and evaluating systems and processes, suggesting improvements where needed
