For the past 12 months, this business has completely exceeded expectations.
They’ve had a conservative hiring strategy but are now in the position to recruit a full-time Finance Assistant to support with all transactional accounting.
You won’t be overwhelmed, overworked or be all-consumed by this position; the whole reason they’re recruiting is so that the workload is distributed evenly amongst staff.
The company operates using Sage Line 50 and relies heavily on Excel; Sage they can train on but do need someone who is comfortable with navigating a spreadsheet and as a prerequisite, someone who has experience on purchase & sales ledger – that’s literally all they need from you!
The role is working 4 days from the office (flexible start and finish times so ideal if you need to do the school drop off or pick up) with a Friday working from home; so you can put your feet up during your lunch break or get things done around the house before the weekend begins!
Brilliant if you live in Altrincham as they’re right in the centre but even if you don’t, great news – the business pays £50 a month travel allowance for all staff; so even if you have 0 commuter costs, you’re entitled to a free £600 a year!
