This role will allow you full autonomy of the Credit Control function with flexibility to run it to how you see fit! No micro-managing and no one looking over your shoulder.
There is the need for an individual who is tenacious and won’t say no for an answer as you will be managing a UK and international ledger; however, what is also absolutely critical is bringing in someone who can keep customers happy – these are key clients that the company is proud to work with so it’s essential you maintain these relationships.
This role is best aligned for someone who absolutely loves being on the phone and getting to the bottom of an outstanding payment, missed invoice or query… firing off an email simply isn’t enough – they want you to be engaging with the customer and maintain the relationship as much as bring in the debt.
It’s an office-based role, 5 days a week, so you must love being in and around the rest of the team – but as soon as that clock strikes 4.30, there is absolutely no expectation to stay late and work should be left at the door!
Staff retention levels are extremely high – the FC has been with the business 14 years, the FM 6 years… that’s because all staff are valued and appreciated.
