Location: Swinton Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per annum + + Free Parking + Benefits
Platinum is exclusively partnering with a leading property services company that is offering a newly created and fast-track Company Accountant role and beyond, where you will be supported and mentored by the Finance Director and given the autonomy to put your stamp on the small finance team.
The role would best suit a diligent qualified or part qualified accountant who has experience of an SME environment.
You will be part of our small office team based in the friendly Swinton office.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the company’s financial accounts using Sage 50 Professional, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to present to Owner/ Director
- Ensuring the business has strong financial controls
- Improving the financial and operational processes of the business
- Preparation of year end accounts for submission to accountants
- Responsible for weekly & monthly payroll sign off as well as cover for processing payroll including pension, HMRC submissions and compliance
- Quarterly submission of VAT returns
- Maintaining the cashflow analysis
- Maintaining bank reconciliations and all banking transactions
- Maintaining the Sales and Purchase ledgers
- Be responsible for the sales invoice production from the CRM software and reconciliations
- Experience in preparation of accounts to a senior level

- A confident qualified or part qualified accountant/management accountant/company accountant looking for a challenging new role

- Effective Communicator
- Exceptional IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Packages
- Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
- Sage 50 experience
- Part Qualified with 6 years + industry experience
- OR with a recognised qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and at least 3 years post qualification experience
