This is a unique offering for an Assistant Management Accountant who wants to get involved in project accounting, process improvement & system implementation.
You will be responsible for assisting in producing the management accounts for 3 companies with the support of the Management Accountant and Financial Controller; yet enjoying the flexibility to put your own stamp on the role and streamline processes & procedures.
But you will add more strings to your bow with the opportunity to get stuck into managing the financials for various multi-million pound projects; excellent exposure which will look amazing on your CV.
The experience you will build up will include:
- Creating and running financial trackers
- Auditing the projects and proving evidence of costs
- Producing revenue stream analysis and KPI reports
- Reporting on P&L, highlighting trends and anomalies
It’s not all number-crunching though as they need someone with the capabilities of liaising with others as you will sit in Board Meetings with Directors and stakeholders to project your findings and suggest areas of growth & improvement.
The business has asked me to interview individuals who have touched on management accounts but want more from their role & want to work for a business with a long-term career plan mapped out for them.
Study support will be on offer once you have passed your 3-month probation and there is an opportunity for hybrid working with 2 days spent at home as a permanent fixture.
