An unbelievable opportunity to work for a qualified, senior finance figure who want someone to bring new, fresh & exciting ideas to the table.
The business fully funds your accountancy qualifications so whichever route you decide to go down – CIMA or ACCA – you will have a direct mentor & support to help you pass exams.
The position has become available as the business is growing at a rapid pace… but they don’t want to bring in someone to just do the “leg work” for them, they want an individual who will join them in meetings and have a voice.
They are currently in the process of streamlining & polishing up their reporting schedules and month-end process and you will enjoy being a pivotal figure in this change, getting stuck in and driving the business forward.
The role will suit an individual who has mastered transactional accounting and wants to be trained in producing management accounts; the business will recruit an apprentice at the same time as yourself to ensure you won’t be bogged down with purchase & sales ledger.
This business “cherry-picks” the best talent to work for them, really putting emphasis on someone who can be a long-term figure within the business and not just a short-term solution, which is why they aren’t looking for a qualified, fully-fledged management accountant – they want someone who has potential and someone to “grow into” the role.
So, whilst the role will be a step up and yes, it will challenge you – you won’t be on your own, the FC completely understands how critical this move is in your career which is why he wants to invest in someone and offer one to one training.
