Constantly evolving and constantly striving to grow the company, they need a gutsy, career-driven Assistant Management Accountant who will throw everything they have into this role and want to learn all they can in a business where there is no glass ceiling to potential.
The beauty of this is it’s an SME company therefore you won’t be pigeon-holed into one aspect of management accounting; you’ll have exposure to it all and be asked to sit in on Board Meetings and really have your say in driving the business forward.
The transactional accounting is completely looked after meaning you can concentrate completely on pulling together the Management Accounts with both the Finance Manager and Finance Director with exposure into budgeting, forecasting and MI reporting – this role will give you one of the most-rounded, no-holds-barred insight into a set of accounts that I’ve ever seen!
And the great thing is – it’s a development role! Therefore, they are certainly not looking for an all-singing, all-dancing Management Accountant but rather someone who can achieve that status in the next 12 months with support and guidance.
So, it’s going to suit an individual who has experienced month-end accounting, has dipped their toes into MA preparation but wants to achieve more & see the bigger picture rather than have to pass over their work to a more senior member of staff.
You will also receive a full study package towards the ACCA/ CIMA so if you’re studying for your exams at the moment, this experience will coincide nicely!
