An events management business in Sale are recruiting for an Administrator to join their team of 2 in supporting them with the coordination and execution of weddings, private parties and corporate events.
The Director is looking for someone she can really take under her wing and teach the ropes of the industry to; you will start here as a support to the senior Events Coordinator and MD with planning, organising, booking venues and dealing with clients and suppliers before having the opportunity to progress into an Events Coordinator role.
What’s different to this role than other Administrator roles out there is the below:
- The in-depth training and support given by the MD (who has been in the industry for 20 years)
- It’s exciting – it’s not an admin role to sit behind a desk and file or input data; you will actually have exposure to the coordination of events
- Progression routes – you have a clear path here, unlike most administration roles that offer no real progression or a foggy path that’s unclear; you will see yourself managing, executing and coordinating your own events in 12 – 18 months’ time and salary will reflect this
- Incredible working environment with two individuals who are passionate, love going to work every day and have fun outside of work!
The MD is looking for an Administrator with 6 – 12 months experience who is confident to speak to clients and suppliers and someone who can handle a fast paced, multifaceted role and use their own initiative when supporting the team whilst giving your own ideas.
