The best thing about this job is the fact you don’t need any administration or office-based experience to be successful.
The Director is looking for somebody who will fit in to their friendly office culture – this is a close-knit team therefore team fit is crucial; the team are great, they all get on and have a laugh but also help each other out where needed and the Director said this is one of the best things about his business.
This is why experience isn’t a requirement for this role – you will be trained and supported by both the Office Manager and Director who will be there to guide you through your period of training and thereafter.
The perfect foot in the door role to build office-based experience if you don’t have any already but also the ideal opportunity if you do have some office experience but you’re looking to develop further and build on your existing skills.
Your role will consist of inputting information and customer orders onto the in-house system (they use Sage Line 50 but you do not need to have experience in this), liaising with customers and general business support to the Director and Office Manager.
Progression routes are open in this role; if you do want to progress and you’re looking for career development, this role is ideal because you can choose the path you want to go down.
Based in the rural area of Knutsford, you must have your own transport or live within walking distance of their office (full address can be given at shortlisting stage)
