When I asked the Finance Director this business what he was looking for from his next recruit, he told me this:
“An individual who will be listed as a senior figure on our meet the team page in the next few years. An Accounts Assistant who has the potential to move up the ranks and become a Management Accountant and tell me in their appraisals that they want to become FC… we’ll then make sure this happens”

The business can not only fund your accountancy qualification (this doesn’t stop at AAT, you can then continue onto ACCA or CIMA) and you will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance – this can be as much 30% of your annual salary on top of your March wage packet.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have at least 12 months’ finance experience (purchase and sales ledger will suffice) or an accountancy degree with a placement year.
