The Finance Director is new to the business and has identified where he feels he could strengthen the accounts team; with an individual to manage the transactional finance and support with month-end close.
The business is multi-faceted so your role will be busy & fast-paced as you will manage the invoicing, payments, and cash management function for various entities so it’s ideal if you love jumping from one task to the next and hate being sat there twiddling your thumbs.
This role is perfectly aligned for an individual who has started AAT and has 6-12 months’ basic finance experience but wants more complexity & variety day to day, managing various sites and working with multiple suppliers & customers – rather than being stuck in a one-dimensional role.
This is a growing business so progression opportunities will become available however there is already a Management Accountant in the team so this would be a good 2-3 year career move for an individual who wants to work for an exciting brand, build up excellent experience on your CV – and then, if there is no route for career advancement after this time, the FD will understand you will need to move on and will give you a glowing reference.
