Platinum Recruitment Group are in partnership with an industry recognised business in Macclesfield who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team. My client can offer structured development and progression and see you as an important member of the team moving forwards.
You will work closely with the Finance Manager who has been with the business for over 10 years; you will assist her with the production of detailed Management Reports and have further involvement in the following:
*Processing accruals and prepayments at month end
*Inputting accounting journals onto the system ensuring all information is correct
*Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
*Management of the fixed asset register
You will also have full management the Purchase and Sales ledger and will be a key point of contact for the businesses suppliers.
The business currently has an annual turnover of £7million and is constantly investing in other entities to expand the company. They specialise in multiple areas such as manufacturing, distribution and retail giving you the opportunity to gain experience in different sectors.
My client is looking for an individual who has a rounded skill-set and who can add value to their team. Your role will become more varied the more the business grows, this will parallel your position in the business making this an exciting project.
